Paul, in response to your questions. The north end of Blacks Beach is predominately a gay location, the rest of the beach is a mix of couples, singles and a few families. The beach is vast but it can still get pretty crowded on weekends. It's quite beautiful with the hang gliders and parasailers overhead that take off from the Torrey Pines Glider Port. I just received Brad's California Dreamers Nude Beach Video and it appears to have been filmed entirely at Blacks, check it out. I found my ex-GF and I in the video walking along the beach for approx. 45 seconds. The lifeguards patrol the beach and leave the nude sunbathers alone.
