My favorite spa in Germany is Erding Therme which is north of Munich. It is just fantastic. I never have to bring my bikini. It is divided into two parts. The first part is for people wearing swimsuits and entire families go there.
the nude sauna area is for people over 18 only and is immense. It is so wonderful to go from early morning until late at night without wearing anything. They even have a small restaurant so you can eat without leaving. You can charge everything on a small wrist recorder and pay at the end of the day.
I feel really comfortable there being totally nude. I wear a robe or a towel between saunas and remove it once I start to bake in the sauna. There are wonderful showers which everyone enjoys taking together. There are several swimming pools as well.
One of my favorite areas is the eis-igloo. It is a refrigerated room with a temperature of about 5 degrees C or 40 F. After baking in the sauna it is wonderful to sit in this cold room until my teeth are chattering and really experience the change in temperature. There is a large bin of ice and I rub some of it all over body into every crevice. It's also great after being in a 100 degree sauna for half an hour to cover the bench in the eis-igloo with ice and then lay down. The shock is incredible and it is so punishing when my boyfriend then covers the rest of me with more ice. I was so totally red and cold after that experience!
There is a large out door area for sunbathing as well. It is great to tan with so many otheres au natural.
There are equal numbers of men and wowen and it is very popular for groups of college girls to go to the spa for an entire day of swimming and sauna.
I strongly recommend it.
