I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. My first experience at Gunnison (last month) I had a bunch of males gawk and stare at me. Then they moved their towel to DIRECTLY in front of me on a noncrowded beach (one even asked me if the water was cold if you get my drift). Of course they started talking to me and when I told them to leave me alone it took a while. I put my top back on, to which they started to leave. When they were halfway up the beach I took it off, and of course they turned around and came back. I then picked up my stuff and moved down to the 'gay' area. They had the nerve to follow me and I went off on them (the guards were gone). They finally left and I went for a dip. When I came out of the water I was walking back to my chair and the guy sitting behind me got an erection and proceeded to stroke himself knowing I could see what he was doing. It was so gross! I have been to Gunnison only a handful of times since, but every time, I get hounded by guys who think I wanted to talk to them. It's so pathetic. I of course don't encounter this problem at the 'textile' beaches, but I'm getting so weirded out with these guys/pervs who are on the beach and are ruining it for everyone else. I just like to relax at the beach, take a nap and read. I have yet to do that at Gunnison. A note to some of the guys--get out the weed wacker already!
