Dear Bill: Be serious, Bro. Ya gotta check the weather reports. Can't predict now what the weather will be then. Today (7/13) we have heavy cloud cover here in NJ, yet the last 3 days was great beach weather. Labor Day weekend is Sept. 3-5 this year and that is usually the un-official end to beach season.
In my opinion, you can consider a trip to the beach safe until the end of Sept. The last few years, anything around the 70 degree mark and sunny works for the first few weeks into Oct. too.
