: Did anyone here attend the dance that happened after the Portland Naked Bike Ride? Was the music any good? Were most dancers naked? Good mix of M/F? Anyone think clothing-optional concerts or dances would be popular in other settings? Comments?
Hi. I attended the ride last year and stood outside the dance hall all night. I did not go in, but did make note of the nudes that passed in and out. The music was good (but thats besides the point :)).
The ride was awesome, and as bikers returned after making the rounds, quite a few girls dismounted and proceeded to go into the dance hall fully or partially nude. However, i would NOT say that MOST dancers were naked. The naked ones were definately in a minority. I could see inside and note that this was true. But the fact that any nudes at all walked into that hall impressed me :) These were hot babes too, and I stood outside imagining them gyrating to the music.
So I was impressed to see this happening at all. Its one thing to go naked on a beach. Its quite another to go naked in a crowded dance hall. As for the popularity of this in other setttings - sure, it'd be popular among guys anywhere :) But in the US at least, there are a lot of barriers to overcome..
