He seemed to have an attitude about his hired girls insisting they cling to him like he was the greatest thing on earth, but got very jealous if they ever started to flirt with the men at his place. I'd wager to bet it was a case of massive insecurity.

I believe the only way he made money in California was by selling porno videos he made at his compound, or videos of certain theme days he hosted. But again, with the exception of a few older swinger couples, all the females were paid to be there (and looked the part). You'd typically see 30 guys to three or so paid porno types at his "events". The time I went was brutal and the air was filled with desperation from the horny guys, and some of them looked like they just came out from under a bridge.

I don't know if he's still alive. What is clear is that he and Naked City appear to have drifted off into obscurity.
