People that have been going to a particular beach for years are your most valuable resource. Their recollections can be worth hundreds of single visit "snapshot" reports. You can spend time soliciting info with each gallery submission, or you could try and collect reports from long term users who have been to that beach on every day of the week, in every type of weather, in every season, etc, etc.

I've logged well over 100 visits each to two beaches out in the west, and I don't mind writing. Major beaches elsewhere I'm sure have their "experts" who also are Cocco members. Offer a little incentive and maybe you can coax reports out of all of us. I'm good for 5-10 pages for each beach :)
