the date is July 20th. July 19th is reserved for VIP shooters and private photo ops.
I remember reading a few years ago that they were going to open up the grounds to photographers on Saturday too. I wonder what ever became of that plan? Sort of make it a weekend long event. Freelance photography on Saturday and then the contest on Sunday.
As it is now you can get onto the grounds on Saturday but unless you're a registered photographer you can't do any shooting. Does anyone have any ideas on how to secure press credentials for this event? With all the publicity this site generates for NAP you'd think they'd throw Cocco a few to use as she'd like.
