Yes I know what you mean, I was thinking of that when I wrote what I did, although if ya think of that for a second, some out there are looking for that sort of thing all the time anyway and there are things that I wouldnt include anyway, ex: if I was planning on shooting the SUNDAY after I posted something here, I would not say "I was planning on going to HAULOVER JAN-28-2008, was there anyone going there that would want to maybe hookup and shoot some?". But almost anything else is up for grabs, if you were shooting anywhere you would be on the lookout for anyone trying to figure out what everyone was doing....etc. The distance between people would stop anyone person from just looking for anyone shooting anything, this would be time consuming to say the least..etc. And anyone worrying about a post they might have seen online about when someone shot some video, they going to mark it down somewhere that to be on the lookout much more from 1PM-2PM then anyother time,[because of the post?], I really dont think so. Anyone else see what I mean? So then after I gave it a thought, i dismissed it as something I really didnt need to worry about. now then.

If anyone really wants to know, I will be shooting at haulover [plannig to be there all day, [cause I dont like to pay $5 for only a few hours, most of the time, I get my best shooting done from 2Pm-5PM], getting there real early to get a good spot, on the weekends, mostly on SATURDAYS, trying to get good lighting angles with the sun, and oh ya, I will be naked. I am about 5'10" very short hair, [at least after a few times out there] Ill have a pretty good tan and ill be sure to have towels and lotion so I dont burn too bad. the camera's I shoot are a SHARP and a PANASONIC miniDV. lol

: my 2 cents here..
: I really like the "test" page cocco has posted eventually that will be great..
: but it should be open for ALL to contribute and update. If you look at the numbers there are a LOT more people who know / can contribute to the database than if you just have contributors. In addition, I am sure a lot of contributors would really not like to draw attnetion to themselve, and they may feel that if they say exactly where / when they were at the beach that they may be identified a bit easier. remember most want to stay anyonoymous to not only their subjects, but also to the several hundred others that are at the beach at the same time. So non-contributor "beach reports" may be easier to get than reports from contributors.

: : : I think Howard has the answer here! Encourage all contributors to include an informational event report when they submit their galleries. Pictures speak for themselves regarding visitors to a beach, or participants in an event, but any useful details regarding best times to go, recommended local hotels or camping, transportation, etc. would eventually create a detailed guide for interested visitors.

: : It's like pulling teeth unfortunately to even get the most basic report.

: : We are working toward a system where people get "coccobeans" instead of some vague amount of access time. Adding information to a submission will increase the value of the submission. That might work.
