How bout some more info there, Bro? What you describe sounds like what is called a "wind screen" here on the Eastern part of the US. It's a piece of cloth connected at a few points along by poles, which are driven into the sand. Used for blocking wind, privacy, or just to block others view of the ocean.
Are we on the same page??
