There are much better places to go. The town of Desert Hot Springs is no where near as nice as Palm Springs.
The Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs is the best one in the area. It is nice and spacious. It is very popular and busy all the time. Best to book in advance
There is Morningside Inn. It is nice. It is in Palm Springs. It is real small like Living Waters. Desert Shadows is nice if you are going with your kids. These places you can probably book last minute.
