Yes, Artiztik, I am aware that this approach is a possible way of going about it. And maybe at some point we can try it. For example the Brushwood Center in New York State has various nudity and alternative oriented groups book their facility throughout the summer to each "do their thing". Like the X-Day folks for example.
Perhaps I have a utopian notion of what is possible. Perhaps it can never work without commerce coming into play. But I'm going to try. Despite the name "photozella", I really don't want participants to view it as an event to tromp out to with a camera with the primary intent to photograph nudity. You should be going out to participate in a shared experience of nude activities, and as it happens, yes it's okay to bring your camera and shoot some stills of what unfolds, and yes one of the activities is that people can model for pro photographers, get a collection of images of themselves and make contacts in that arena. But I think that the minute you put a fence around it, charge admission, pay models... it turns it into a meat market of sorts. Maybe not as bad as Indiana's "nudes-a-poppin" but headed that way. "Regular people" are not going to want to hang out nude in that context.
And I really think that the natural environment of ocean, sand, rockformations, etc is really important. Which is why Florida really does not interest me right now; I don't know of any nudity-legal places where the environment is terribly photogenic. Right now the beaches near free-spirited San francisco are our best bet for what I have in mind.
I am hoping that in a week or two I will have a new photozella.com home page ready with all the details of a late September gathering.
I really appreciate and value all input even if I may not agree all the time.
