weekdays is mostly younger (college/high school kids on break and the waiter/bartender types) and much older (retirees) if its a nice day, expect to see several hundred people at least. If your alone and are apprehensive, set up by one the lifeguard stands.
drive into the park, take the main road all the way to the fork, bear right, follow the signs to Gunnison Beach, you'll go past the snack bar/shower/drop-off area and then pull into the parking lot to your left, take the walk onto the beach. The nude area is well marked. Facing the ocean, the gays tend to congregate to the right (south)
