People used to sunbathe nude on loungers at the roof of the Chesterfield in South Beach. Topless and g-string by the pools at probably all of the South Beach hotels is either the norm or not surprising to anyone. That is the dress code for all 10 miles of the mB area including up to Surfside. The Townhouse Hotel was supposed to have a low-key clothing-optional sunning rooftop deck. No pool but a misting room. Ask them if it is OK and let us know.

: A few years ago we stayed at the Ocean Palms motel, which is the very first motel north of Haulover beach (only about a city block away). Our first day there my wife wore only a thong & a towel draped around her neck & over her breasts & walked from our room down to Haulover. The next day & every day after she was more brave & walked totally topless all the way down, and with only a loose towel around her hips on the way back. None of the motel staff or anyone else ever said a word or acted like they were shocked. Though we always went to the nude beach we saw a few topless women at the motel pool & at the beach bar as well. The Ocean Palms is no Hilton or Sheraton, but the room was clean & for close proximity to Haulover, it can't be beat. There is also a Days Inn next door, but it looked kinda junky. Good luck...hope you have a great time !!
