I'm not from the area, but have been there before. You'll probably get a more detailed response after mine.
1 - Black's Beach. This beach is located just below the hanglider port next to UC San Diego in La Jolla. Take the La Jolla Village Drive and go west. It will become Torey Pines Road. Turn left on Torey Pines Scenic Drive. There are parking lots on both sides of the glider port, and trails from both lots. One is normally open and one is normally closed based on that year's erosion of the cliffs, so I don't know which lot is being used this year. I've always used the trail from the first lot.
2 - San Onofre. This beach is located at the north end of Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Go north on I-5 past Oceanside and the Marine base. Exit at the power plant, turn left under the freeway and enter the park (to your left). The park road is the old US 101 that pre-dated I-5. You want to go as far south as possible, I think parking lot 6. Go on the beach and walk south as much as possible until you see the nude section. From what I'm reading this beach is currently better than Black's Beach. Parking is somewhat of a problem, so you may want to get there early.
The locals will probably post with more accurate information.
: I'll be in San Diego in May. Can anyone direct me to beaches?
