I am planning a trip to St. Martin with my wife, around the end of Dec or early January. We love nude beaches, but don't want to actually stay 24/7 in a full-blown nudist resort (aka orient beach club). In fact, we think it's more fun seeing people dressed--then undressed, than always undressed!
I was in St. Martin about 10 yrs ago and stayed at La Hoste, which was great--near the edge of Orient Beach, close enough that you could be nude on La Hoste's own beach or not, and of course could walk 20 yds. to be on the full-blown Orient Beach Club beach if you chose. Since then, I understand that the beach has been really built up with a huge variety of beachfront hotel options.
Has anyone been lately? What would you recommend? We are late 20's early 30's, so we wouldn't want a stuffy "luxurious" place. Prefer a fun place, as close to Orient Beach Club as possible without actually staying there, and a hot tub would be great too, if possible!
I appreciate any suggestions...
