Subject: Is pubic hair a thing of the past?

I know its been a trend over the years but of all the times we went to our nude beach this summer I would say 80 to 90% of the girls were totally bare.  My wife was in the minority and said she even felt out of place as she likes to keep a landing strip.

Is this the norm now for all girls? Or is it for tanning reasons to shave completely?

Re: Is pubic hair a thing of the past?

I think you’re right.  I’ve been going to nude beaches since I was a child (I’m 39 now), all women had hair then but is seems rarer and rarer now.  I’ve never been able to get used to it.  I have always maintained plenty of hair myself, it’s what Mark my husband likes and he’s the one I want to please.  The only time I ever shaved completely was when I was taking part in a carnival which meant wearing just an extremely small string.

But it depends on the country and the type of place.  Where are you from?  It seems to be more ‘trendy’ places and orientated more towards swingers where pubic hair seems to be virtually outlawed now.  The one exception is Spain, where we frequently go.  Nudity is very common on beaches there and Spanish girls really have plenty of hair - you should see Mark’s reactions!

Yes I agree with Helen regarding being a cultural issue. I personally have met only a few woman with pubic hair here in the good ole USA. When traveling though I do meet alot more people who are more “natural” which is not my preference!
But difference are what makes the world go round….

As for me personally, I like a nicely trimmed pubic area. Landing strip about 1 to 2 inches wide is perfect. Too much hair is too much hair. No hair, well, just seems wrong, like it is a babies pussie and you are not supposed to like looking at babies pussies.  Some hair is perfect. Love the nicely trimmed bush.
