I don’t know what it is, but about 1 in 10 people who use our support form mistype their email so it bounces back to us.  So we cannot help them.  And they are mad because they did not hear back from us.  Usually we can’t do anything except wait for them to email again.

I’m going to start a list here of problem emails.  If yours looks like one of these, then you need to contact us again and TYPE CAREFULLY.

seems alot more then you would think, happens just like that, even I sometimes mistype my email address, yes even me. what I see alot is two places where this is typed, so that if one is typed wrong then the system wont accept the form, this might be of some help, if not then sorry and ill be on my way….lol

Why don’t you have a second e-mail field so that they have to type it in twice.  If they don’t do it the same both times it doesn’t accept it untill they are the same.  I see that all the time in order forms.

This guy subscribed yesterday and keeps trying with the same dead email.

We thought about 2 fields, but the fact is, if they do not get an email back (for verification, or as a login reminder) they will try again, so in effect they are typing it a second time and usually will get it right then.
